Foraging 101

Learn how to safely identify, eat and enjoy wild foods and medicinal plants. In this class you will be guided through the wild as you come to realize how much abundance is in your very backyard.

In this class we will go over all the necessary things one who is just getting into foraging should know such as safely identifying plants, understanding our relationship with nature, how to harvest sustainably, and the medicinal and edible properties of plants.

We will walk around a small area just up sunshine canyon and marvel at the abundance that is right at our feet. You’ll get to try plants, smell them, and learn the basics of how to make medicine and herbal balms.

You will get also get a print out of most of the medicinal plants in the area with benefits and uses.
