Homesteading is not a destination, but rather a mindset. while the practical nature of growing our own food, raising animals, preserving said food and feeding ourselves and our community all makes a lot of sense, we don’t homestead out a desire to be self-sufficient. instead, Homesteading is a way of being, a way of connecting with the natural world around us. gathering with community to work with the land, feed one another, and honor all of the people and unseen creatures that make life possible.
