Living with the land. Magic in the mundane. homesteading as a way of being.
You Enjoy Life : An immersive and educational homestead in North Boulder
What if homesteading wasn’t a destination, and rather, a simple, ancient way of living? What if there was no “place” to get to, but that learning this way of living can happen in any moment, at any time, in any situation?
If you are anything like us you may have found yourself waking up from what we might call the Matrix—A disconnected, depressed, isolated reality designed to make us think we are alone, when in fact we are not!
Once aware of the way things are in reality, you may find yourself seeking more harmonious, more simple ways to live in this wild world. If you are anything like us, you may have also fallen for the idea that to live in a different way meant to save up and get yourself a nice piece of land to tend to. But what if you don’t have land or are just getting started? Must you push off this journey?
At You Enjoy Life we simply like to remind people that your journey doesn’t have to remain in your head, but that you can start learning to live in this way now. Come see us for a class sometime on the homestead.

About Aja Rose and Yoshua
Aja and Yoshua live just outside of Boulder with their daughter Amiya, on a little patch of land where they grow food, raise animals, make a lot from scratch, and try to stay present through it all. This space is a reflection of what they’re learning, what they’re letting go of, and how they’re choosing to be in relationship—with land, with each other, and with a growing community of folks exploring similar questions. There’s no polished blueprint here—just a real life being lived, shared, and shaped together.
